Heart Surgery Excellence is the personal practice website of Mr Dincer Aktuerk, a Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon. As one of the most technically demanding healthcare specialties to market – cardiac surgery sits at the intersection of clinical excellence, patient anxiety, and deeply personal decision-making – the brief required a website that could convey extraordinary expertise whilst remaining warm, human, and genuinely reassuring to patients and their families.

We designed the Heart Surgery Excellence logo and brand identity and built the site on a WordPress using carefully chosen lifestyle imagery that shows patients living well after surgery rather than focusing on the procedure itself.

The focus of our ongoing content strategy is the Patient Stories section. We interview real patients – people who have been through open heart surgery, valve repair or other major cardiac procedures – and turn those conversations into compelling, human narratives published on the site. We also manage ongoing news content covering Mr Aktuerk’s clinical and academic work.

The result is a premium, trust-led digital presence for a leading cardiothoracic surgeon, underpinned by a content strategy that puts real human experience at its heart.
