Mr David Houlihan-Burne is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and an established existing client of ours. Alongside his busy orthopaedic practice – specialising in knee surgery – he undertakes medicolegal work, providing expert witness reports and testimony to legal professionals and courts.

This side of his practice required its own focused, professional digital home: a website that spoke directly to solicitors, insurers, and legal teams rather than patients, and that established his credentials in a legal context clearly and without ambiguity.

This was a deliberately focused project. Built on WordPress, the site uses a palette of deep navy, slate grey, and white — authoritative, formal, and appropriate for a medicolegal context. The design is restrained and confident, with clean typography and generous spacing that gives every element room to land with impact.

The result is a purposeful, professionally pitched medicolegal website that gives an existing client a credible and entirely separate digital presence for this distinct strand of his practice – concise, well-designed, and exactly the right scale for what it needs to do.
