Wellington Women’s Clinic

The Wellington Women’s Clinic is a private gynaecology and obstetrics practice based in London, led by Mrs Anupama Shahid, a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. The clinic offers specialist care across the full range of women’s health needs,  from benign gynaecology and menstrual disorders through to menopause management and obstetric care.

Building a website for a women’s health clinic requires particular sensitivity: the conditions being treated are often ones patients find difficult to discuss openly, and the site needed to strike a precise balance between clinical authority and genuine warmth.

Built on WordPress, the design centres on a palette of blush rose, deep teal, and clean white – a combination that feels distinctly feminine and reassuring without being clichéd.

We wrote all of the website content, covering the full scope of the clinic’s services – benign gynaecology including endometriosis, ovarian cysts, recurrent miscarriage, and menstrual disorders; menopause management; and obstetrics. Writing for women’s health requires a particular tonal skill: content must be clinically accurate and appropriately detailed while remaining accessible and non-alarming to patients who may be anxious, newly diagnosed, or simply seeking information for the first time.
